ConnCAT’s Phlebotomy program is designed to fulfill the market demand for trained phlebotomists. The program focuses on proper collection and handling of specimens submitted for analysis, which is essential for quality laboratory results. Adult students will learn vital skills in correct patient preparation, specimen collection, and specimen packaging and transportation.

Graduates of the program will have skills necessary to obtain positions in various healthcare settings, including laboratories and inpatient/outpatient hospitals and facilities. Graduates will also qualify to sit for the National Phlebotomy Association certification exam.

Course Length

  • 1 week   Phlebotomy Academy
  • 4 months  Classroom Instruction
  • 160 hours  Externship

Class Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Externship schedule determined by extern site
