how to apply

STEP#1 Complete the pre-application

 Complete the pre-application and upload a photo or PDF the following:

  • CT State Issued Photo ID
  • Proof of Residency
  • Birth Certificate
  • High School Diploma or GED


The applicant's name should be visible on all documents.


STEP #2  ATTEND SCHEDULED ASSESSMENT

Applicants will be assigned a date for a testing session. This session will include a multiple-choice-based assessment of basic skills in reading, grammar, and math, as well as a personality assessment. 

Applicants will be assigned an assessment date once all required documents have been successfully uploaded. Upon attending your scheduled assessment, original documents MUST be presented.


STEP #3 panel interview

Upon passing the on-site assessment, applicants will be scheduled for a panel interview.

Currently all of our Adult Learning Programs 

are only offered Monday through Friday 

8:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Thanks to our very generous donors, other than a full-time commitment, ConnCAT adult training programs are offered at no cost to participants.
